Echo Power

“So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11 AMP

This is something I’ve been pondering for a while. There hasn’t been any exegesis on this subject matter, just random thoughts. You know how at the beginning of Creation, God spoke and everything that was meant to be became, and functioned? Well, why is it that He doesn’t have to speak the same thing over every morning/evening? I mean, it’s like the sun, moon, stars, earth, etc. have their own invisible alarm clock or something. Really, could you imagine God getting up…if He slept…at the crack of dawn every morning saying, ok sun it’s almost time for you to rise and shine? I know more than me had to have contemplated this before!

Thinking along these lines, especially with God being the catalyst that empowers our words, I’m convinced that because God’s words are so powerful that the power from His words reverberated through the echo so much so that what He spoke once didn’t need to be repeated again. He doesn’t have to repeat what He said over 2000 years ago because the power of the words resonates throughout eternity, and must continue to perform. There’s so much power in what He said the 1st time that it doesn’t bare repeating. His Words are so strong that their echo is just as powerful.

So, when God spoke, you were already what He spoke you to be…you are just waiting to become it. The reason being that it’s taking longer than expected may be because other voices started speaking and producing echoes. Though not as powerful as God’s, they’re strong enough to distract you from your original intent. Since His word can’t return void, it drowns out the noise of all the other voices that may be speaking in your ear.

Echo, as defined on dictionary.com, is “a repetition of sound produced by the reflection of sound waves from a wall, mountain, or other obstructing surface.” So, in the times that you are facing obstacles, you should be reminded the most of what God said about you. Every obstacle should echo a reminder of His promises concerning you. Echoes are the byproduct of sound hitting obstacles, so every obstacle you face is a part of God’s plan. As the echo is produced, then your location can be transmitted—by ECHOLOCATION. Depending on how long it takes for God’s echo to return is based off of your location.  Because of the echo of God’s word, your obstacles can’t consume you, but your blessings can overtake you—because they know where you are based off of the echo.

Hopefully, you’re able to view each obstacle through a different lens now, and have a better understanding of how “all things work together.” Obstacles aren’t ideal, but they do serve a purpose. They, too, have to bow to God’s words—even if it’s an echo! Echoes still have power!

Let’s Pray: Lord, thank You for being Sovereign in every situation. Instead of allowing the problems that I face to overwhelm me, let them remind me of what You said about me, in Jesus’ name! Amen!

Keep Living!!!
